Alex Burke

Landscape Design & Sales

Alex was born and raised in Greer, South Carolina. From a child, he has always had an interest in art and design. He received an Associate’s degree in Architectural Engineering before attending Clemson University. He graduated from Clemson in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture. Alex has been in the landscape industry for the past 15 years holding various jobs in design/build, golf course maintenance, botanical gardens, sales, and most recently, owner/operator of Carolina Greenery. He has a passion for serving others and creating outdoor living spaces. When Alex is away from work, you can find him outdoors, spending time with his wife and kids, or playing sports.

Ben Claes

Landscape Design & Sales

Ben grew up in Naples, the “grape country” of Western New York. He received a degree in business management as well as taking several classes focusing on environmental science. Ben has an extensive history working in construction and landscaping, and even started his own company delivering high-end home and landscape solutions to clients in the Cliffs Communities. In 2017, Ben joined Precision so he could continue to deliver great results and work alongside others with a like-minded goal and vision. He oversees all aspects of each installation, and enjoys making genuine connections with each client to bring unique designs, perspectives, and solutions to every project he touches. When he isn’t overseeing a landscape or hardscape installation, Ben enjoys soccer, woodworking, and spending time with his wife and kids.

Cam Lawson

Sales & Marketing

Cam was born and raised in Greenville and also spent some time in Nashville pursuing some music endeavors. He has worked in the landscape industry for 4 years and in customer service for 9. As of December 2018, he holds a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Strategic Communication from Liberty University as well. He is using the academic knowledge he is gaining in school to provide professionalism to Precision and the green industry as a whole. He has a heart for building relationships with and serving people by exceeding their expectations. Away from work, you’ll most likely find him playing guitar, reading a book on leadership and business, or taking weekend trips with his wife.

Chad Knight

Maintenance Account Manager

Chad, a native to the Upstate of South Carolina, is a true outdoorsman at heart. With over 18 years of experience in the lawn care and landscape industry, he brings a unique style with him to the Precision team. Those who know Chad, know that he is a hard-working individual that thrives on his many interpersonal skills. After managing a small bar and spending some time on the Appalachian Trail, he joined the Precision team with a desire to grow and assist our clients. When Chad isn’t speaking with our clients about increasing the value of their landscape, you can find him spending time with his family, hiking to a mountain peak, or playing and writing music.

Philip Moses

Maintenance Account Manager

Philip, also a Moses, came down to South Carolina to run the landscape management division at Precision. With a degree in Automotive Services Technology, Philip makes sure that all of our teams and equipment run like a well-oiled machine. His attention to detail allows him to manage all aspects of the maintenance schedule. He challenges our team to work with integrity in order to produce quality work while inspiring them to become passionate about the green industry. When he is not setting schedules or trying to improve the efficiency of our routes, you can find him spending time with his wife on their small farm/homestead or out with friends over a great craft brew.

Brian Gray

Operations Manager

Brian was born in Lakeland, FL but considers Greenville, SC his home. At the age of 16, he started cutting grass for friends and family which is where his passion for the landscape industry was able to blossom. Over 16 years later, Brian has been able to learn in detail some of the various parts of landscape - maintenance, installation, and plant health care. Brian has found his greatest fulfillment in working with trees and shrubs with a personal mission statement being “creating a sustainable urban forest for future generations”. He has a passion for learning the industry leading options & solutions to bring to the community. Brian has been a Certified Arborist for 5 years, Pesticide applicator for 9 years, and sits on the board of Trees Upstate. Brian joined the Precision team so that his technical abilities can add a comprehensive set of landscape solutions for our clients. In his free time, Brian enjoys hanging out with friends and family, reading books about business and personal growth, and cooking.

Steve Motes

Landscape Project Manager

Steve was born and raised here in Greenville, SC and now resides in the Easley, SC area. After school, he spent 12 years at UPS where he learned about quality control measures, efficiency of processes, and effective leadership of people. Steve left UPS to pursue residential custom home building where he spent 20 years, including 10 years owning his own company. In 2008, Steve joined the landscape industry which has been one of his lifelong passions. Steve loves seeing the process of something beautiful created and being able to work alongside a team with shared values. In his personal time, Steve enjoys hanging out with his family - a wife, 3 daughters, and 5 grandchildren,— and playing golf.

Stephen Moses

Turf Care Manager

Also from Michigan, Stephen runs the Turfgrass and Shrub Care Division. He loves integrating his passion for science into creating the kind of healthy turfgrass and shrubs that will make your yard the envy of the neighborhood. When he is not researching and learning about new application products, he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and exploring downtown Greenville in search of great craft brew.

Kendra Leigh

Office Manager

Growing up in the mountains of central Pennsylvania, Kendra always enjoyed spending time outside working in their family's large kitchen garden and exploring the nearby woods. She earned a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, while the outdoors, the environment, and sustainability continued to be a passion and interest in her life. Upon joining the Precision team, she quickly fell in love with Precision's vision of "cultivating life,". She uses her background in education to help develop the knowledge and the practice of sustainability in the green industry to individuals and the community. In her free time, she enjoys learning languages, cooking with her husband, traveling, spending time with friends, trying new things, and researching ways to live more sustainably.

Nate Moses

CEO

Nate moved to Greenville, SC from Waterford, MI in 2005, bringing with him a love for Michigan sports and an obsession with all things landscaping. After familiarizing himself with the Upstate market, he founded Precision Landscape Management, with the goal of creating a company that would always employ best practices in sustainability and landscaping. Nate envisions Precision as a company that would grow client relationships and professionally develops his staff on a daily basis. When he is not learning more about leadership or the green industry, you can find him enjoying the outdoors with his family or playing soccer.
